Young Walt Disney
I painted Young Walt Disney on gessoed art paper, its primed surface catching every brush stroke and pencil line like a memory pressed into time. With monochromatic acrylics, I laid down shadows and glints that danced like the first flickers of Walt’s wild dreams—raw, restless, hinting at wonders still unborn. It marked the second beat in my three-painting series, a nod to the man whose parks and tales glowed through my family’s life like firelight on a still night. My faith steadied the flow, weaving grace into the muted hues, simple and strong. The piece held lean and sharp, a young Walt frozen mid-chase, his spark pinned to that taut paper with a whisper of what was to come.
A 14” x 17” acrylic painting on gessoed art paper. Painted as part of a 3-painting series of Walt Disney in monotones.
