Transcript:

Hello, everyone, welcome to Brush of Magic. I’m Ronn Stern. Thank you for joining us as we learn to paint one of the coolest armors in the Star Wars universe, the Tie Pilot; time lapsed into a 60-second video.

The Tie Fighter helmet and uniform, initially designed by Andrew Ainsworth, is one of the most interesting imperial designs and was even reused for the ATAT pilot helmets. His helmet and chest piece, along with the Tie Fighters, have a lot of detail in them, so I chose to spend my time there and be a lot rougher in the treatment of the rest of his outfit. You, as the artist, get to make those decisions, and not all areas need the same level of importance.

Remember, 10 minutes of painting a day, every day, is the best thing you can do to propel your art. Subscribe to learn more tips on how to paint your favorite characters.
