Most paintings start rough ideas sketched out for composition. After that, the rest of the work flows. But sometimes, you realize part-way through a painting that the composition must be changed to improve the illustration. That’s what happened here, as I realized the large rendering of a thermal detonator at the bottom of the painting might be a bit confusing to the audience, and chose to move Jabba’s palace from top right to bottom center and place the detonator in Boushh’s hand. Don’t be afraid to radically change your art in order to make it better.
