Our favorite little droid is predominantly white and so how we handle this color is very important to the success of the painting. Very rarely does a pure white color show up in the regular world and so we have to try to understand how shadows, other lights and reflections, and the ambient light affect the color white.

A great advantage to a large light space in a painting is the opportunity it brings to introduce high contrasts and complementary colors to make the piece even more attractive.
