Hello, everyone, welcome to Brush of Magic. I’m Ronn Stern. Thank you for joining us as we learn to paint the rough and ready Star Wars biker time lapsed into a 60-second video.

Body: The speeder bikes and their troopers were one of the many really cool additions when the movie Return of the Jedi came out. And recently they’ve been highlighted in a really fun and interesting way in the Mandalorian Disney+ series. One of many things that make them so interesting from a storyline and visual way is that the speeder bike trooper’s helmet and armor are very different from most troopers. Their helmet is defined by the large straight lines, both vertical and horizontal that make up the front of the helmet. Nailing down the perspective on those perpendicular lines is key to correctly positioning the trooper’s head and line of sight.
